Welcome to the PTSA Website for Riverside High School
On behalf of the RHS PTSA, welcome to our Riverside family! As a PTSA, our goal is to advocate for our students in our school, our community, and in governing decisions. We also foster and support positive relationships between the students, staff, parents and surrounding community. We have a great PTSA board and welcome you to be a part of it. There are many ways to be involved. We encourage you to become a member. We are also looking for partners in our Friends of Riverside campaign—either as a family or business, Consider volunteering your time or talents to our various events. Feel free to browse this website for more information and to find ways to get connected. We look forward to meeting you.

Support the 3rd Annual Battle of the Bins Donation Drive benefiting homeless veterans in our community. The non-profit Veterans Are Heroes is in need of new and gently used household items and furniture, as well as monetary donations, to help turn transitional housing for struggling vets into furnished homes. Just like the upcoming rival football game, you choose your favorite team to support when making your donation - Clemson or Carolina. We will announce the "winning" team at our home basketball game on December 6th.

Donations can be dropped in the appropriate "bin" each morning in the T-Mall. Do students need service hours? PTSA has agreed to sign off on 1 service hour in exchange for monetary or item donations for participating clubs and societies. Refer to your club or society on dollar amount required for each hour. For details on items needed or to make an online or Venmo donation, stop by the table in the T-Mall or visit the link below. With the upcoming holidays and colder weather, we thank you for your assistance in keeping our struggling veterans off the streets.
National PTA Reflections 2024-2025
Does your student enjoy art, music and dance or have an interest in writing, producing films or taking photos? Then join us in encouraging your child to have fun unleashing their inner artist with PTA Reflections!
This year’s theme, “Accepting Imperfections,” calls for their unique interpretation through the arts. Students will enjoy rewards and recognition for their effort, and their judged entry may be selected as a winner at the school, district, state, or national level.
School Store is OPEN
School Store will be open daily during all lunch shifts as volunteers are available. Menu items will stay the same as last year with prices ranging from $0.50-$2.00. We accept payment as cash, credit/debit card, or through CashApp. Minimum charge is $1. Check out our Menu below. We can't wait to see you!

We are also in need of Level I Volunteers to staff the store. A consistent pool of volunteers would be a huge relief. It allows us to remain open each day. Believe it or not, there are quite a few kids who use our store as their lunch option for the day. We will take any time you have to donate! Even if it's one time. Ideally, we’re looking for teams of 2 (or 3) to sign up for once a month. So, find a friend, pick a day that works for you and commit to it for the year. Please note, if you're new and don't know what to do, no worries. Loree Hartzog will be happy to assist and teach you the ropes. It's very easy to learn. Check out the Volunteer schedule below and sign up. Thank you!
WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
The PTSA is a volunteer based organization. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
