Welcome to the PTSA Website for Riverside High School
On behalf of the RHS PTSA, welcome to Riverside!
We are glad to have you as part of our family! While this school year looks quite different from years past, our commitment to RHS remains the same; to support the students, staff, and community at Riverside. Even in this COVID era we have so many opportunities for you to connect and get plugged in; whether it is volunteering your time or donating to specific events. Please join PTSA and donate to our Friends of Riverside either as a family or as a business. Our website provides a great road map to all things RHS PTSA. Thank you for your support! Stay Safe and Stay Connected!
Stephanie Wright & Karen Bennett
2020-2021 PTSA President & Vice President
The PTSA would like to invite all Warrior Parents to join us every other Tuesday night from 7:00-8:00pm for our new #PTAConnects online meetings. We are so excited to gather our community in an online forum to discuss all things RHS and beyond! Need some help with online learning? Need an idea for dinner? Carpool? Looking to make some new RHS friends? So are we! Come as you are and stay for the whole hour or pop in and out when you can.
We can't wait to connect with you!
Revised 2020-21 Budget
Attention all RHS PTSA Members!
As restrictions due to COVID continue, we will not hold a General Membership Meeting this fall. However, we need to make changes to our 2020-21 Budget to accommodate these new challenges COVID created. The revised budget is attached HERE. Highlights of the changes include:
School Store is currently closed. We have included a small amount of money in both income and expenses in case we are allowed to open before end of year.
An additional $10K in undesignated carryover from last year's profits were not spent last year due to school closing early.
We are happy to announce that Warrior Partners has brought in significant more support this year than previously planned. Thank you to our sponsors!!
Hospitality expenses will increase due to COVID safety requirements.
We've postponed some landscaping projects originally planned.
Most importantly, we are putting extra effort into student and staff support programs, specifically Suicide Prevention and Mental Health efforts.
An email was sent from Keri Dille through MemberHub on Sunday, November 15 requesting your vote on this revised budget. We need your immediate response to this virtual vote in order to meet a quorum. Please take the few minutes to click on the link in the email and submit your vote. We would like for a response by this THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19.
