The primary mission of PTSA is to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children; and to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children; and to encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.

At Riverside High School we are committed to encouraging parent involvement in our schools. When parents can work side by side with administrators and teachers, our students achieve at their highest potential. Whether it's helping support our teachers through hospitality events, stuffing back-to-school packets, or doing a shift in the school store, all of these activities make Riverside High work and make Riverside High staff have it's most positive impact on our students. Please get involved. High school is the pinnacle of the K-12 experience and a phase in a child's life when they want more separation from their parents, however, statistics show that parents that maintain a positive involvement in their child's school through volunteering are best positioned to help their child navigate and graduate from high school. Find your niche and get involved!  Everyone is welcomed to attend our monthly board meetings at 10:30 a.m. the 4th Tuesday of each month except December. It's a great way to hear what's going on and how you can help. We hope to see you at the Warrior Nation this year!
