Be a volunteer adult to assist each class with planning and executing their respective duties.
Reach out to Friends of Riverside Business Partners
A great volunteer opportunity for parents/guardians that are not afraid to approach local businesses to partner with Riverside High! Flexible hours and training provided!
PTSA School Store
This is PTSA's largest source of recurring funds from food sales and school supply sales. Helpers are needed during lunch and after school daily. Pick a day each month to help out and join the fun!
Another large fundraiser for our PTSA funds comes from sales of Spirit Wear. Helpers are needed to sell items to our students, faculty and staff during orientations, Open House, and other events, as needed.
Lots of volunteers needed for various activities planned throughout the week before, during, and after school.
Help selling tickets, assisting students in developing a theme and decorating for the event.
Red Ribbon Week
Volunteers help plan and execute activities for the week in late October before and during school.
Veterans Day Events
Help plan and execute activities at RHS to support the military during November, especially those current students with family members, as well as past students and their families who are serving our country.
Mental Health Week
Volunteers help plan and execute activities throughout the year related to Mental Health awareness, as well as assist in any Student Council needs for the week in spring.
This is the national PTA's signature event each year to encourage the arts among students. Students are encouraged to participate one or more of the categories: visual art, video, photography, music, and others. Volunteers assist in promoting the program to students, collecting and processing entries, and coordinating judging and awards at the RHS.
As representatives of the parents, teachers, and students, it is important that we help advocate for topics and issues that affect us. From time to time, the PTSA will ask its members to reach out to our local and state legislators for support.
