“3-PEAT!!!” Boys Soccer Wins 3rd Straight Title; Senior Exams, EOCs
3-PEAT!!! The Riverside High School Boys Soccer Team won its third consecutive state championship Friday as it defeated James Island, 4-1, at Irmo High School to win the Class AAAA State Championship. The Warriors’ two previous championships were at the Class AAAAA Classification. Riverside High School has won 27 total state championships in boys & girls soccer. The championship is Riverside High School’s 94th SCHSL Championship in its 50 years which ranks near the top of all public schools in South Carolina.
EXAMS BEGIN THIS WEEK: Riverside High will begin Final Exams and End of Course Exams this week. Senior Final Exams will begin on Thursday with 4th Block Senior Final Exams. 3rd Block Senior Final Exams will be on Friday. End of Course Exams will begin on Thursday with 4th Block EOCs, while 3rd Block EOCS will be administered on Friday. It is imperative that students take advantage of all review sessions to prepare for upcoming Final Exams. Please see the testing calendar for information regarding all exams.
GRADUATION PRACTICE & GRADUATION: Riverside High School will host a MANDATORY graduation practice and Senior Class Meeting for members of the 2023 Graduating Class on Friday, May 26. Graduation will be on Wednesday, May 31 at 8:00 a.m. at Bon Secours Wellness Arena. Graduates will need to be at Bon Secours Wellness Arena by 7:00 a.m. SEAT TIME RECOVERY: Seat Time Recovery is held every Tuesday and Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in Room G-112. Yearbook Day/Senior Decision Day
RHS will host its annual Yearbook Day/Senior Decision Day on Monday, May 15. Limited extra yearbooks will be sold on a first-come, first serve basis for $90, cash only.
Annual Awards Night
Riverside High School will host its annual Awards Night on Monday, May 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the school’s auditorium.
Exam Review Sessions
Riverside High School will host an Exam Review Session on Saturday, May 20 from 9-12 p.m. Students will be able to review for EOC and Final Exams or get extra help in a class. Please speak to your teacher or Mr. Duty if you have any questions about these review sessions. The sessions will run each Saturday through Saturday, May 20.

Academic Time
Riverside High School will continue to offer Academic Time (tutoring) is free and offered each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5:30 p.m. on the “G Hall”. Students need their ID and to arrive no later than 4:00 p.m.
